WALTHAM Forest Amateur Boxing Club’s Keegan Hargreaves proved a big hit in his latest bout on the Romford ABC show on Saturday.
The 21-year-old made it two wins from three contests by securing a unanimous point’s victory over Brentwood’s Chris Mealing at the Romford Community Centre.
Keegan showed willing from the first bell against a strong and tricky southpaw opponent, landing some good combinations throughout the three rounds.
Reflecting on the Forest puncher’s performance, club secretary Ian Cuddy said: “Keegan looked very impressive.
“He is one of the hardest trainers in the gym and I think he used his fitness levels well during the three rounds.
“His opponent was a very tricky fighter and two wins from three fights now, certainly bodes well for the future.”
Meanwhile tickets are available for Waltham Forest’s dinner show at the Prince Regent Hotel in Chigwell on November 6.
